 Team Ambrose is proud to announce that Kansas’ very own Tamara Baker will be running for Midwest Regional Vice Chair.
“Tamara has a proven record of experience, hard work and grassroots activism which she will extend in her service to the Midwest Region. She will bring that ‘can-do’ attitude, along with her plan to expand training and real world leadership opportunities for YRs in the Midwest Region. Tamara firmly believes that education and hands-on experience are key elements for club growth and the development of the next generation of Republican leaders,” said Nicolee Ambrose. "We are thrilled to have her as part of Team Ambrose!"
Tamara has been an integral part of over 25 campaigns and she is currently a member of Senator Sam Brownback’s staff. Tamara was twice unanimously elected YR National Committeewoman from the state of Kansas.
As Chair of the Sedgwick County Young Republicans (SCYR) in Kansas, Tamara energetically sought opportunities to turn grassroots activists into Republican leaders. Since the founding of the Sedgwick County Young Republicans (SCYR) in 2001, Tamara helped to develop SCYR training which has enabled many of its members to run for local and state office.
