Portland, Oregon - Today, Nicolee Ambrose, candidate for National YRNF Chairman, and Zack Scrivner, candidate for National Vice-Chairman at Large, announced that they have asked Jonathan Burley to join their team as the Regional Vice-Chairman for the Western States. Mr. Burley is currently the Region V Vice-Chairman, which covers the states of Alaska, Idaho, Montana, North Dakota, Oregon, South Dakota, Washington and Wyoming. He enthusiastically accepted their offer.
"I have had the honor of working with Team Ambrose for the last 6 months and seen them in action. They are exactly what I have been hoping would happen to the YRNF," said Jonathan Burley.
Nine years ago Mr. Burley chartered the Washington County Young Republicans in Oregon, then he became State Vice-Chairman, and then State Chairman years later. Now he helps clubs across Oregon build effective, professional and stronger clubs, and also holds a couple of key positions within the Oregon Republican Party.
Zack Scrivner had this to say about the future of the YRNF, "Jonathan and I have talked extensively about how we can re-shape the Vice-Chairman at Large's job and the Regional Vice-Chairmen's jobs to best suit the needs of the states. It is our conviction that one of the primary duties of the YRNF is to serve the states and clubs, and I am confident that we can do that together."
