Team Ambrose Calls for YRNF Candidate Debate
Nicolee Ambrose, candidate for YRNF Chair, today called for a commission to be formed to hammer out the details of a debate or series of debates at YRNC 2005 in Las Vegas.
“The delegates not only have a right to hear the ideas of the various candidates on both tickets,” Ambrose said in calling for the debate, “but the candidates should hear what the delegates think. Several hundred YRs will be gathered in Las Vegas in July. That is the logical place to have the debate or forum so that as many YRs as possible can participate.”
“This is in keeping with what our team is calling for,” Co-Chair candidate Tim Kolpien said of the debate. “We’re committed to empowering and involving rank-and-file YRs in the process of discussing and determining the future of the YRNF. Those frontline YRs will be with us in Las Vegas. We can have a fair, meaningful exchange about what directions the YRNF should go.”
Team Ambrose is calling for a commission of six people, three representing each ticket, to be formed at the upcoming YRNF board meeting in Arizona.
The Commission would meet in Arizona to begin determining the formats and details for the debate/ and or forums to be held in Las Vegas.
