“We want America to know how great the Young Republicans are today and how valuable the Young Republicans can be for the future,” Murphy said. “ Our job is to improve the image and communications of the YRNF from the individual club member to the highest levels of government and the RNC.”
Glenn Murphy is President of December Media, a Pollie Award-winning advertising and political media consulting firm. He is the State Chairman of the Indiana Young Republicans, Secretary of the YRNF State Chairman’s Association and the Republican Party Chairman of one of Indiana’s largest counties. Glenn became the Youngest County Chairman in Indiana five years ago. His strategy of effective media and youth involvement helped move his county from Democrat dominance to Republican majorities in just a few short years.
Murphy and Colón both said they were excited about the opportunity to utilize their communications skills and assemble a team of talented young communicators for an important mission.
"We want to be a resource for state chapters and local clubs. The combined experience of the communications team we are assembling is impressive. We want to share that experience, and we want to make everyone's job easier with effective communication and utilization of the latest technologies,"
Colon said.
Jessica Colón of Texas has worked in politics professionally and as a volunteer for over a decade. Jessica's service includes internships with the NRSC and U.S. Senator Connie Mack (R-FL). She has worked with a top-tier Republican political advertising firm and as Campaign Manager of a nationally-watched Congressional race in 2002. Jessica is serving her second term as Texas Young Republican Federation Communications Director and also as Houston Young Republicans President. Jessica currently works at the global real estate developer, Hines, as a Corporate and Project Marketing Manager.
“We ask for your vote so that we can work for you and for the betterment of Young Republicans everywhere,” Murphy said.
