Team Ambrose is proud to announce the addition of Nick Wahoff as its Public Relations Director. Wahoff will be the new face of the Team Ambrose campaign as it continues to communicate with YRs at the grassroots level.
A stalwart of the Ohio YRs, Nick rose from club member to president of the Capital City Young Republicans in Columbus, which is the oldest continuously running YR club in the country. In 2003, Nick was elected chairman of the Ohio Young Republicans. Under his leadership, the Ohio YRs have put on a semi annual leadership conference, organized voter registration drives, helped Republican candidates in & outside of Ohio, sent large delegations to the GOP Convention in NY & the Inauguration in DC, and nearly doubled the number of YR clubs.
In 2004, Wahoff used his talents to help deliver his crucial battleground state to President Bush. Nick and the Ohio YRs led the "PDA - Get Out the Vote" program in 19 targeted counties throughout the state.
Upon announcing Nick's appointment, Nicolee Ambrose said, "I am honored to have such an upstanding and effective leader going to bat for us. His addition has already begun to generate much excitement among the team."
Tim Kolpien added, "I am glad that YRs from across the country will be able to have such a friendly face to communicate with. Nick brings over a decade of political activism to the table and will be a great asset for the campaign."

Nick Wahoff has been involved in politics and the Young Republican organization for over a decade. In college, he was elected to the Student Senate and after graduation he became acitve in the Fairfield County YRs.
Moving to Columbus, he was elected to trustee and then in 2002 to president of the Capital City Young Republicans Club (the oldest continuously running club in the country). Under Nick's leadership, Cap City won awards for publicity and public relations, newsletter, political involvement and education, and general club programming.
In 2003, Nick was elected chairman of the Ohio Young Republicans. Over the past two years, the Ohio YRs have put on a semi-annual leadership conference, organized voter registration drives, helped Republican candidates in and outside of Ohio, sent large delegations to the GOP Convention in NY and the Inauguration in DC, and nearly doubled the number of YR clubs.
For the 2004 election, Nick and the Ohio YRs organized rallies and made phone calls for the President, and ran a voter registration drive. On election day, he led the Ohio YRs as all worked as poll watchers and directed the PDA- Get Out the Vote program in 19 targeted counties all over the state.
This year, he was appointed to the Central Committee of the Franklin County Republican Party. He is a member of the Jaycees and the OPERAzzi (a young professional opera support group).
Nick graduated from Miami (Ohio) University with a degree in History & Diplomacy & Foreign affairs with a minor in Economics. He works as a credit manager in Columbus, Ohio.
